Loren Bouchard described their ethnicity as: For better, for worse we gave [the main characters] the name Belcher so at least one of Bob’s parents hails from some French or French-Canadian lineage. But in a perfect world, we’d have the show about a sort of Greek-Armenian-Italian-Jewish-German polyglot.
According to Creator Loren Bouchard in an interview with AV Club, Louise’s signature rabbit ears are based off a character from the anime Tekkonkinkreet, claiming “You get a little cognitive dissonance where you experience Louise both as a little girl and Bugs Bunny at the same time.”
Louise says that it isn’t her fault because she’s autistic , but Bob quickly says Tina isn’t autistic .

In some episodes, his name is just credited as ” Jimmy ” on the end credits. In “Ex MachTina”, Jimmy , Jr. sings, “My mom’s new friend Allen, he’s okay,” which again implies that Jimmy Pesto is divorced and his wife has moved on and is dating a man named Allen.
#4 Bob’s Burgers While the vibe of the show is edgy and absurd, the family is loving and supportive of one another. That being said, some characters behave negatively. There is also bad language and crass humour throughout which may not be suitable for tweens. Common Sense Media rates Bob’s Burgers a 13+.
Eugene “Gene” Belcher is the middle child of Bob and Linda Belcher and the tritagonist of Bob’s Burgers. He is the only boy out of the three siblings . Gene is an aspiring musician and a prankster. He maintains very close relationships with both of his parents and two sisters, Tina and Louise Belcher.
Though he viewed this as a fun experience until the episode ” Bob Fires The Kids.” His mother died when he was a child, they used to make gingerbread houses together.
“For Bob’s Burgers : 30% of total revenue for cost of goods = $21,304 8% of total revenue for restaurant rent = $5,681 So to calculate the profit we subtract the total costs (expenditures) from the total revenue. $69,710 – $26,489 = $44,029 That means Bob’s Burgers makes a profit of $44,029…,” the fan wrote.
The Belcher kids don’t recognize boundaries or personal space so Linda is probably just being a mom by telling them to stay out . Parents hide bday gifts and Christmas gifts plus sex dice in their rooms so it’s logical to tell them to stay out .
The Belchers on Bob’s Burgers are many things—perverse, hilarious, given to anthropomorphizing uncooked meat and writing incredibly obscure food puns—but one of the things that defines them is that they’re poor .
Tina is the only Belcher to have her middle name revealed.
