ˈma. nos]; Spanish for The Chicken Brothers) is a fried chicken fast food restaurant that originated in the television series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Due to the show’s popularity, Los Pollos Hermanos has appeared on numerous occasions and locations as a real -life pop-up restaurant .
Ownership. Gus owned fourteen Los Pollos restaurants in the American Southwest between Albuquerque and Nevada (“Mandala”, “Bug”).
With nobody left to cover up Los Pollos Hermanos ‘ involvement in Gus’ side business, the fast-food chain presumably shut down. In Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season, the company’s logo could be shown being removed from Madrigal’s list of fast-food subsidiaries as they seemingly cut all ties with Los Pollos Hermanos .
As it turns out, the house of the Whites in Breaking Bad is an actual home in Albuquerque, with real people living in it. The production team managed to convince the homeowners to let them use the property to film the show — a decision they definitely regret now, as we’ll find out later.
Gus , unable to kill either Walter or Jesse for fear of losing his investment, not delivering to his drops, and this angering further the cartel, killed him as a means of a) primarily letting out his frustrations and b) showing that he is so ruthless he will kill his own people in such an ad hoc and flip way so as to
Gus was basically a psychopath .. As bad as Walt was, he would never kill a child. Gus has both killed a child and threatened to kill two others.
I mean, Gus Fring wasn’t the bad guy , but he was a bad guy . The real bad guy of the story was Walt. But they were all bad guys , for the most part. Walt, Jesse, Gus , even Walt’s wife – none of them were totally morally blameless, there was just different levels of culpability. But Walt was the true villain of the story.
Hector is last remaining member of the cartel, which Gus decimated over an old revenge as well as fresh threats. Even though he expected hector to keep shut, because of ‘honor amongst thieves’, he knew Hector knows enough to take him down, and hates him enough to do so.
The murder of Mike , the grandfatherly fixer who reluctantly helped Walt set up his nascent drug empire, is a study in contradictions. It’s Walt’s single nastiest, most vindictive, most pointless kill – he shoots Mike in the gut because the man pissed him off, pretty much.
Any show that has a long run is bound to have close friendships develop among the cast and crew. Doing the work of performing together day after day forges incredibly tight bonds. Though it’s been years since the conclusion of Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season, Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston have such a friendship.
Judging by the series as a whole, Gus only intended death for Walt after he ran over his dealers, breaking the peace to save Jesse’s life, who was still considered a lowly junkie by Gus . Remember when Jesse was talking about how unfair the deal was at the lab on season 3 episode 8.
