A casual dress code for fine dining restaurants means comfortable… yet polished. You may want to reference Gap stores, with simple tees or comfy Polo shirts atop fitted jeans, finished with the shoes of your choice.
Slacks and a collared shirt are fine. For men nice slacks and a collared shirt would be fine. There might be men in suits and ties but they will be in the minority. For a woman a black skirt with a silk blouse will be appropriate anywhere you go.

For fancy steakhouses , at a minimum, you should consider at least an ironed dress shirt, ironed dress pants, matching dress shoes, and a belt. Blue oxford and khakis are a good choice with dress shoes. I think you can get away with either a tie OR sport coat at most places.
Fine Dining Unless you ‘re hitting up one of those fancy restaurants with a strict dress code, dark denim is a solid choice for a “ nice , but not too fancy ” dinner out for both men and women.
Elegant casual is also known as “ casual elegance ” and is typically similar to something you would wear to a country club or upscale restaurant. A step above resort evening, with this dress code , men are expected to wear a long-sleeve dress shirt with slacks and dress shoes—no shorts, t-shirts, or sandals.
A cocktail dress , heels and a jacket or wrap are standard elements of a five – star dining ensemble. Add a touch of sparkle with jewelry or a clutch to denote that your visit is a special occasion for you.
Jeans are usually considered business casual , with some exceptions. On their own, jeans are more casual , but you can easily style them to suit an office environment. Dress your jeans up with a button-down shirt and a sharp-looking jacket to transform an outfit from casual to business casual .

Women: Put on a skirt, khakis, or dress pants paired with long sleeve or three-quarter sleeve tops. A casual dress and flats are options as well. Men: Wear a button-down or a polo shirt, paired with khakis, or dress pants. If you so desire, layer with a v-neck sweater, a blazer, or a sport coat.
The dress code is business casual which means no tank tops, crop tops, athletic wear, torn jeans , flip flops, t-shirts with graffic language/profanity, cut-off jeans etc. You don’t have to dress like you’re going to a wedding for example but it is fine dining so wear your best and enjoy yourself.
