The Sunset Capital of Texas The Oasis started off as just an idea. Beau Theriot, the owner of The Oasis , has always been a visionary, but never imagined what his idea would blossom into. Thirty-eight years later, The Oasis has become a well-known jewel nestled in the Austin hill country.
Located on a cliff 450 feet above Austin’s Lake Travis , the 30 thousand square foot restaurant (see our menu) and special event center houses eight event rooms and multiple dining decks overlooking the Lake , and accommodates parties from 2 to 2,500.
Unfortunately, our decks are not pet friendly . Only service animals with registered documentation in compliance with ADA regulations ( Click here for Compliance ) are allowed. Please do not leave your fur babies in your car.
Anyways, yes, we do have snakes and they can pretty much be anywhere, but don’t worry too much about them, and if you do find one, don’t approach it and just leave it alone in general, if you can. Lake Travis and Lake Austin are full of snakes mostly Bull Snakes
